Aligned SDGs: Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth | Goal 4 – Quality Education

Overview

Unemployment and lack of employable skills remain major barriers to economic stability for many vulnerable individuals, particularly youth, women, and marginalized populations. Osas Vincent Humanitarian Foundation (OVHF) addresses this challenge through its Development and Job Training program, designed to equip individuals with practical skills, employability competencies, and pathways to sustainable livelihoods.

This program responds to the growing demand for market-relevant skills by combining vocational training, workforce development, and career readiness support. We recognize that meaningful employment not only improves income but also restores dignity, confidence, and social inclusion. Our approach focuses on empowering beneficiaries to become productive contributors to their families, communities, and local economies.

By aligning training with local labor market needs and emerging opportunities, OVHF ensures that beneficiaries are prepared for real-world employment, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic participation.

Bringing quality care to all

OVHF ensures inclusive access to development and job training opportunities, prioritizing those facing economic exclusion. Our training environments are supportive, respectful, and gender-sensitive, ensuring that all participants—regardless of background—can learn, grow, and succeed. By integrating mentorship and follow-up support, we ensure beneficiaries are not only trained but also guided toward long-term employment success.
